With over 22 years of professional dog grooming experience, Moon Doggie Grooming is built on a foundation of care, skill, and a genuine love for dogs. My journey began in the Greater Toronto Area, where I started as a bather with PetSmart and quickly discovered my passion for grooming. After completing formal training at Dog Grooming Academy, I spent a decade with the company — not only grooming but also managing salons and mentoring new groomers as they began their careers.
My career has taken me across Ontario, from the GTA to Northern Ontario, Simcoe County, and now proudly serving the Springwater area.

After years in the fast-paced corporate world, I chose to step away from the hustle and focus on providing a more personal, relaxed, and attentive grooming experience for pets and their people. I proudly joined woman-led grooming businesses across Ontario. I was honored to contribute to their outstanding reputations and help grow their client base through quality work and genuine care.

Later, I opened my own grooming salon, Dog on The Run, in Novar, where I continued offering top-tier services in a more personal, community-focused setting.

Now based in Elmvale and serving Springwater Township, I’ve returned to what matters most — giving dogs a safe, calm, and caring grooming experience tailored to their needs.

In 2021, I moved to the beautiful Crossland area with my best friend Vicky. Together, we’ve created a home and a life built on mutual care and support. Partners and Children aren’t in the cards for either of us so we’ve chosen to focus on our friendship and the life we’re building together. We’ve poured our hearts into renovating our home and caring for our property, spending the past few months transforming a concrete brick room into a state-of-the-art grooming studio. After four years of hard work, including demoing a neglected basement before even moving in, we’re now focused on putting the final touches on our home and have created a space where our friends, family, clients and dogs feel safe and welcome.

I’m beyond excited to finally offer my grooming services to the Springwater area, and I can’t wait to meet the wonderful pets and families that call this community home. For me, grooming isn’t just about making dogs look their best — it’s about building trust, loyalty, and offering care with every pet I work with. My goal is to create a space where both pets and their owners feel safe, valued, and confident in the service they receive.

I truly believe that the bond between groomer and client is built on respect and mutual trust, and I’m committed to earning that trust with every dog I care for. It’s not just about the cut; it’s about knowing your pet’s individual needs and treating them like family.
